Dillons sells Turtle Brownie Cookies (6 for 4.98) - and I LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM. They are fudgy, with a gritty texture - yummm. The caramel the melted and made a toffee like edging - DELICIOUS. So my mom and I made our own!
1 box brownie mix
1 egg
1/3 cup oil
2 TB water
Mix above ingredients.
Add:
1/2 Chopped Caramels
1 Cup broken pieces of Pecans
Using a 1" cookie scoop.
Makes 25 cookies
Bake 370 degrees 15 - 20 minutes (middle should rise)
Our cookies turned out delicious. The caramel - was chewy YUM YUM YUM!!!!!
