Bbq Cornbread Casserole

1 box cornbread mix (along with ingredients required for preparing batter)
1 lb ground beef
Bar-B-Q Sauce
1 15 oz. black beans, rinsed and drained
1 15 oz. can corn, drained
shredded Cheddar or Colby Jack cheese - optional

Hot Pepper flakes - optional
Cooking Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F.  Grease a 9 x 9 baking dish.
In a large skillet, brown ground beef.  Add beans, corn and barbecue sauce.
Prepare cornbread batter according to package instructions.  Pour cornbread batter into the bottom of the greased baking dish.  Spread beef mixture evenly over the batter  Sprinkle cheese over the top and cook at 375°F for 20 minutes or until cheese is fully melted and the casserole bubbles.  Remove and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
