Greek Yogurt Recipes

I eat two servings of Greek yogurt a day! I never thought that I would say this - but I look forward to eating my Greek yogurt.  I have to admit that it did take a while to acquire a taste for the plain Greek yogurt.  I no longer have to add any sweetener to the yogurt when I eat it with fruit.  Truvia or Stevia is a must if you do not like the tartiness of plain yogurt.

Add pure extracts to yogurt:  Vanilla, French Vanilla, Lemon
Extra protein, fiber or Omega 3's:  Milled Flaxseed and Chia Seed
--1 Tb of either flaxseed or chia per cup of yogurt--
--with Truvia--

Add 1 TB Chia Seed or 1 TB of Milled Flax Seed for an extra health boost!

Strawberries and Cream
Fresh Strawberries - 6
Dannon Greek Yogurt
1 packet of Truvia  (mix in yogurt)
Slice strawberries and place on top of yogurt.

Peaches and Cream 
THIS IS SO YUMMY!!! Tastes like peach cobbler!
Warm peaches in microwave or under broiler
Fage Greek Yogurt - 6 oz
1 packet of Truvia  (mix in yogurt)
Mix yogurt with warmed peaches

Apples and Cream 
Dannon Greek Yogurt Nutrition Facts
Pink Lady Apple - dip apple slices in yogurt mixture.
Fage Greek Yogurt - 6 oz
1 packet of Truvia  (mix in yogurt)

Orange Dream 
1 Navel Orange - dip orange slices in yogurt mixture.
Fage Greek Yogurt - 6 oz
1 packet Truvia   (mix in yogurt)

Chocolate Greek
2 tsp Hershey's Sugar Free Chocolate Syrup
1 Fage Greek Yogurt

1/2 packet Truvia (optional)

Raspberry Almond Delight
1/2 cup greek yogurt
dash of cinnamon
dash of nutmeg
dash of clove
dried mint leaves
2 TB sliced almonds
1 cup fresh raspberries

Mix mint into yogurt.  Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.

1 cup of raspberries (smash or leave whole with seasonings)
Sprinkle with:  Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Clove
2 TB almonds

Combine raspberries and yogurt - or layer.
